For accountability, each person attending in your group will need to individually register for the event. If you are not on site prior to noon, the park may not let you join our group.  NO "Solo" diving is permitted.

Get ready to cool off with the Sport Divers of Houston crew! On Sunday, June 28, 2026, we’re heading north to Huntsville for a day of crystal-clear fun at The Blue Lagoon.

While the Houston heat is cranking up, the turquoise waters of these former limestone quarries offer the perfect escape. It’s the ultimate spot for a relaxed "fun dive," skill-building, or just hanging out with the best dive community in Texas.

 It’s called "The Blue Lagoon" for a reason! Unlike most Texas lakes, the limestone base keeps the water a stunning shade of blue and provides excellent visibility. It’s like a little slice of the Caribbean tucked into the Piney Woods.  

 The towering pines surrounding the water provide plenty of shade for our surface intervals. We’ll have the Sport Divers tent set up for a full day of socializing and swapping stories.
